The
village of Braithwaite is only two miles from Keswick and twelve
miles from Cockermouth. To reach
Braithwaite, head past Keswick on the A66 and turn left when
you see the obvious signs directing you to the village. Barn
House is located in the centre of the Braithwaite near
to the Royal Oak Hotel.
From the M6 motorway: Take Junction 40 (Penrith) and head on
the A66 towards Keswick and West Cumbria. Go past the first turning
for Keswick and straight over the roundabout. After three miles
you will see signs for Braithwaite village and Whinlatter.
After
turning left from the A66 into the village, follow the road
until you
see
the Royal
Oak
on
your left. Turn left immediately before the Royal Oak and follow
the
driveway to Barn House which is infront of you. There is
Private Parking infront of the property for two cars.
