Barn House is owned and run by Jenny and Stephen Clark who also have a farmhouse bed and breakfast, Braithwaite Farm, which if planning another visit to Keswick in the heart of the Lakes is well worth the visit.

Barn House is situated in the heart of of the village of Braithwaite, which has a surprising amount of amenities for a village of its size, it is on a main bus route running to Keswick from the west coast. There is a well stocked village shop where you can buy most neccessities. The are also a couple of village pubs serving good quality food and excellent ranges of beers. There are also a two of nice restuarantsfor you to try.

The property enjoys some stunning views over Skiddaw, the Northern Fells.
The new Whinlatter mountain bike trails are on the doorstep and are a must for any mountain bike enthusiast, the forest trails are also ideal for walkers.
'Go Ape' is sited in the Whinlatter Forest and is well worth the visit if you're 'up' for a bit of heart stopping excitement. The valley of Newlands is also close byand easily explored on foot or by car.
